Carimano is not just a fusion of the first names of Carin, aka Min of Carin Grobe Design, and Manu, the designer behind Manu Scraps.
More importantly, Carimano can be broken down to the Italian words "cari" (an adjective meaning "dear" or "beloved") and "mano" (hand), which conveys the idea of holding something or someone dear, such as a strong friendship.
Carin and Manu met at the Studio in 2012. Since then, they have met several times in real life and have become friends over the years. Of course, it's no surprise that they also enjoy being creative together, which is why you can now find all their past and future collab creations here.
