Fall - a major shift in the seasons and with it comes thoughts of picturesque scenery, harvest time, Thanksgiving - and Family. Often extended families gather for those wonderful Thanksgiving dinners and wonderful memories are created.
Here in Australia we do not celebrate "Thanksgiving" but I did have the privilege of sharing in a special family Thanksgiving in America a few years ago. It was the most marvellous occasion, with a huge roast turkey plus all the trimmings followed by pumpkin pie. There were three 'firsts' for me in that - first Thanksgiving dinner, first taste of turkey and first experience of pumpkin pie. The gathering of grandparents, grown children with their spouses and children - that is the most precious memory of all.
I've named this digital scrapbooking collection "Family Memories" in honour of that irreplaceable memory. It is a cross-generational collection and my intention was to provide material suitable to scrap photos from the past, right through to today.
