We all know how the years fly by as we pass through the inevitable stages of life. Each stage gathers its own memories...the photos, the letters, the changing fashions, the outgrown children's toys and the general paraphenalia of life. Sometimes, it's just too hard to let go some of the most precious items that hold us to those dear memories. We put things into storage or we think maybe we could pass some things on to our children's children. Whatever...it seems there are always bits and pieces that are our own personal treasures - some we use day to day, some we tuck away. These are the ones that we tend to forget about over time, until we make 'discoveries' that trigger memories of past connections to come flooding back into our consciousness. How priceless that our brain stores up these things!
