Description
Mulled generally refers to wine or cider to which has been added a mix of spices and also dried fruit. Such beverages may be 'mulled' in a pan and simmered on the stove top, or prepared in a slow cooker. These drinks are served hot and enjoyed when friends are invited over.
I've never had a mulled drink, but it conjures up thoughts of wrapping my fingers around a hot mug on a cold night next to the fire - warm and cosy is what comes to mind! So very inviting!
