"Honk, honk!" I hear the magpie geese as they fly over towards dusk on their way to roost for the night. They fly in a 'V' formation and apparently they take turns to be the leader. They can fall back as they tire, allowing them to fly quite some time before needing to rest. There are various theories about why geese fly in formation - I just like to see them flying overhead! All this has relatively little to do with the saying with "Silly Goose" sentiment, which is rather more fun.
