Winter is a somewhat alien climate for me as I've never lived through one that was cold enough to call 'winter'. Snow, therefore, is something which I've only experienced a few times while travelling to far cooler climes than where I live in the tropics. Snow and softly falling snowflakes, make my imagination form pictures of magical landscapes and winter activities like ice skating and sledding. I think somewhere in my mind, there are winter animals and birds. I think of stillness and silence outside and warmth and coziness indoors. I hope you have such magical winters that make the inevitable drudgery of scraping ice from car windscreens and shovelling snow to make a path from your front door fade quickly from your memory, where only picture postcard scenes are plentiful and give you much to document this special season.
